Für Lanzhouren beginnt der Tag ganz natürlich mit einer Portion Rindfleischnudeln. Obwohl diese Filiale von Yinxiang Xianguan Beef Noodles nicht im Zentrum von Lanzhou liegt, ist sie sehr beliebt und hat morgens lange Schlangen.
Die Rindfleischsuppe ist am Morgen am besten, mittags ist sie leicht minderwertiger. Daher entscheiden sich die Laozhouner für den Morgen als beste Essenszeit. Abends haben die echten Rindfleischnudellokale meist geschlossen oder bieten keine Nudeln mehr an.
Der Preis für eine Portion Rindfleischnudeln ist ein fester Betrag von 8 Yuan. In Lanzhou muss man sehr vorsichtig mit Preissteigerungen sein. Ob man Fleisch oder Ei hinzufügt, entscheidet jeder Gast selbst nach seinen Vorlieben.
Normalerweise genügt es, einfach "Rindfleischnudeln" zu bestellen und "mit Fleisch und Ei" hinzuzufügen. Dann serviert man Ihnen die Standard-Rindfleischnudeln mit den Extras. Der Rest liegt dann beim Gast.
Mit Fleisch und Ei kostet das Gericht etwa 18 Yuan. Wenn man noch etwas Gemüse dazu bestellt, liegt der durchschnittliche Preis bei etwa 25 Yuan.
Yinxiang Xiangyuan Beef Noodles - Zhongshan Bridge
Die Zhongshan-Brücke befindet sich auf der Nordseite der Mitte der Binhe-Straße, am Fuße des Baixi-Bergs und vor dem Jincheng-Pass. Sie wurde im 33. Jahr der Guangxu-Ära der Qing-Dynastie erbaut und ist Lanzhous älteste historische Brücke. Im 32. Jahr der Guangxu-Ära (1906) plante der damalige Vorsitzende der Lanzhou-Handelskammer, Peng Yingqia, aus wirtschaftlichen und militärischen Gründen den Bau einer Eisenbahnbrücke. Schließlich wurden 306.000 Taels Silber aus der Staatskasse aufgewendet, und die deutsche Firma Carlowitz & Co. übernahm den Bau der 233,33 Meter langen und 7,5 Meter breiten ersten Eisenbrücke über den Gelben Fluss. Später wurde sie zu Ehren von Sun Yat-sen in "Zhongshan-Brücke" umbenannt, ein Name, der bis heute Bestand hat.
Das Bemerkenswerte ist nicht so sehr das hohe Alter der Zhongshan-Brücke, sondern dass sie, obwohl viele Touristen sie besuchen, auch als Pendlerbrücke für die Einwohner von Lanzhou über den Gelben Fluss dient. Obwohl es sich um ein Kulturdenkmal handelt, ist es in das Leben der Laozhouner integriert und für Fahrzeuge gesperrt, was zum Schutz des Kulturdenkmals beiträgt.
Am Morgen oder bei Sonnenuntergang ist die Zhongshan-Brücke ein hervorragender Ort, um Sonnenauf- und -untergänge zu fotografieren.

Dieses Lokal wäre wahrscheinlich nicht auf der Reiseliste der meisten Leute, denn Nudelsuppe ist nicht die erste Assoziation, die man mit Lanzhou verbindet. Auch mir ging es so. Als ich eines Abends spät noch auf der Straße unterwegs war und sah, dass nur dieses Restaurant noch geöffnet hatte, nutzte ich die Gelegenheit.
Das Interieur ist im Holzstil gehalten, die kleinen Accessoires verleihen dem Laden eine sehr gepflegte Atmosphäre, die einen angenehm sauberen und frischen Eindruck hinterlässt.
Hier steht natürlich die Nudelsuppe im Mittelpunkt. Die Nudelsuppe mit Venusmuscheln hat einen intensiven Geschmack und die Muscheln sind relativ frisch - ein Bestseller. Die Nudeln mit Speck sind ebenfalls sehr beliebt, vor allem für Gäste, die gerne schärfer essen. Die Tomaten-Nudeln haben ein kräftiges Aroma, vor allem mit einem eingelegten Ei eine tolle Kombi, ideal für Gäste, die Schärfe nicht so mögen.
Dieser unauffällige kleine Laden an der Zhangye-Straße ist eine überraschende Entdeckung. Wenn Sie zufällig hier in der Gegend sind, probieren Sie ihn unbedingt aus.

Der wichtigste Grund für die Wahl dieses Hotels ist seine sehr zentrale Lage im geschäftlichen Zentrum von Lanzhou. Direkt vor der Tür befindet sich ein Nahverkehrsknoten, und gegenüber liegt das größte Geschäftsviertel von Lanzhou, Xidan. Wenn man shoppen möchte, ist man sofort am Ziel.
Die Hotelzimmer sind sauber und gepflegt, das Interieur ist durchdacht. Kostenloser Kaffee wird in den Zimmern und im Foyer angeboten und schmeckt gut.
Ein Manko ist, dass aufgrund der sehr zentralen Lage der Parkplatz nicht groß genug ist. Man muss um die Ecke zum Parkhaus fahren. Für große oder schwere Fahrzeuge kann das ein Problem sein und für Frust sorgen.

Die Bafang Shisan Xiang in Linxia sind ein Markenzeichen dieser Stadt und das Zentrum des uigurischen Lebens. Als wichtiger Ort an der Seidenstraße hatten schon im Tang-Dynastien persische und andere Händler aus Zentralasien Geschäftsbeziehungen hierher, unter ihnen auch viele Missionare, die sich hier niederließen.
Die Bafang Shisan Xiang sind um acht Moscheen herum angelegt und spiegeln das Leben der Uiguren wider. Viele ältere Uiguren werden als "Bafanger" bezeichnet.
Heute präsentiert sich die Bafang Shisan Xiang wie ein historisches Altstadtviertel. In der Nebensaison gibt es nur wenige Touristen, viele Geschäfte entlang der Straße schließen früh. Einige Einheimische wohnen hier, sodass man auch Bauernhöfe antrifft.
Für Besucher, die schon viele historische Altstädte gesehen haben, mag es hier nichts Spektakuläres geben. Aber eine Mahlzeit mit lokaler Bauernküche wäre eine interessante Erfahrung.

In den Gassen der Bafang Shisan Xiang haben viele Anwohner ihre Höfe zu kleinen Restaurants umgebaut, um Touristen anzuziehen. Huiwai·Jia ist so ein ähnliches, bäuerliches Restaurant.
Huiwai·Jia liegt zentral in den Bafang Shisan Xiang, nicht weit vom Platz entfernt. Das Schild ist gut sichtbar. Im Inneren befindet sich der eigene Hof des Besitzers. Es gibt Sitzplätze drinnen und draußen, je nach Vorliebe.
Die Speisekarte besteht hauptsächlich aus Lanzhou-Gerichten und Hausmannskost.
Es gibt ein paar Spezialitäten, die Besucher probieren sollten. Die große "Zuckerdreiecks-Pastete" hat einen ähnlichen Geschmack wie Fünf-Kerne-Mondkuchen. Das "Saure und Scharfe mit Sahne" ist Rindfleisch in Ei gebacken und frittiert, mit Fasrigem wie Fleischflocken. Der Lammtopf ist ein Muss - frisches Lamm in einer Brühe mit Kräutern und Pfeffer, kräftig und gesund, braucht aber etwas Geduld beim Warten.
Die Portionen in diesem Lokal sind generell sehr großzügig, man sollte also nicht zu viel bestellen, damit nichts übrig bleibt.

Sie beschreiben den Dalongzong-See als eine in ein dichtes Waldtal eingebettete Perle. Jeden Juni kommen zahlreiche Pilger hierher, um Pfeile in den See zu werfen.

Zha Ga Na ist eine alte Stadt im Kreis Diebu, die wie eine natürliche Felsfestung erbaut erscheint. Umgeben von Bergen, in einer wunderschönen Landschaft, die wie ein Paradies auf Erden erscheint, wurde Zhaganai von der chinesischen National Geographic Zeitschrift zu einem der bekanntesten Gebirgsgipfel gezählt, woraufhin der Spruch "himmlisches Zhaganai" entstand. Hier kann man auch die herzliche Gastfreundschaft der tibetischen Bevölkerung und das traditionelle tibetische Dorf erleben.
Landschaft: Das Gebiet umfasst vier Dörfer, die in Tälern zwischen mächtigen Bergen liegen, wie eine ferne Bergidylle. Die Schönheit von Zhaganai lässt sich kaum in Worte fassen, wenn man nicht mindestens zwei Tage hier verbringt, kann man nicht die verzaubernde Morgennebelverhüllung und die Abendröte über dem Tal erfahren.
Reisetipps: Bei knapper Zeit empfiehlt es sich, morgens den Aussichtspunkt Tairi zu besuchen, von wo man das ganze Dorfensemble überblicken kann. Nachmittags wandern Sie durch das Runwu-Tal und besuchen Sie den Feensee und den Feenteich, die Zhaganai zuzurechnen sind. Für die Übernachtung empfiehlt sich das Dorf Tairi, von dessen Hof aus man den Sternenhimmel bewundern kann.

Die Ausstattung der Zimmer ist komplett, die Gesamtreinigung sauber und ordentlich. Der Wohnbereich ist geräumig, für 3-5 Freunde zum Essen perfekt. Wie in den meisten Hotels und Pensionen hier, gibt es auch in den Zimmern keine Klimaanlage. Das kühle Klima von Zhagana erfordert im Sommer keine Kühlung, im Herbst gibt es Elektrodecken zum Heizen.
Die Besitzer sind Einwohner des örtlichen Dorfs, die ganze Familie lebt im Erdgeschoss und betreibt gemeinsam die Pension. Wenn Kinder Ferien haben, kommen sie nach Hause. Diese Familie repräsentiert die einfache, natürliche tibetische Kultur. Der Mann ist freundlich und redegewandt, die Frau bodenständig und zuverlässig. Wenn man mit ihnen spricht, erklären sie gerne die lokalen Besonderheiten und Traditionen.
Für das Abendessen muss man sich vorher mit der Familie absprechen, damit sie es rechtzeitig vorbereiten können. Es gibt in der Regel einfache Hausmannskost. Morgens kann man auch gemeinsam mit der Familie das tibetische Frühstück einnehmen.
Allerdings können die beiden Wirte nur sehr wenig Chinesisch, sie können im Grunde nur ihren eigenen Namen schreiben. Ihre Kinder haben ein höheres Bildungsniveau.

Auf der Luo-Ke-Straße ist dieser Abschnitt mit der besten Landschaft und auch der höchstgelegene. Als Gipfel der Diesheng-Bergkette liegt die Höhe hier über 3.000 Metern.
Wenn man die Straße entlangfährt, sieht man in der Ferne die Bergspitzen schon mit Schnee bedeckt. Am Straßenrand sind wellige kleine Hügel und Hochlandwiesen. Bei genauem Hinsehen entdeckt man in den Wiesen viele Höhlen, in denen kleine Tiere und Murmeltiere leben.
Die Straßenverhältnisse sind hier eher schlecht, durchgängig gibt es keinen Handyempfang. Beim Fahren muss man vorsichtig sein. Es gibt viele kleine, zerklüftete Löcher auf der Straße, die für normale Autos eine Herausforderung sind, für robuste Geländewagen aber kein Problem.
Guanggai Berg - Luo-Ke-Straße

Die Essenz der Naturlandschaft von Gannan konzentriert sich auf der Luo-Ke-Straße. Ein Ende liegt in Zhagana, das andere in Kreis Duoni. Wenn man Niba Tibeterdorf als Bezugspunkt nimmt, befindet sich die schönste Naturlandschaft auf dem Abschnitt von Niba Tibeterdorf bis Zhagana, während der Teil von Duoni bis Niba Tibeterdorf eher von Grasland und Dörfern geprägt ist.
Die Höhe der Luo-Ke-Straße liegt meist über 3.000 Metern, der Pass des Guanggai Bergs erreicht sogar 3.800 Meter. Dank der üppigen Vegetation empfindet man den Höhenunterschied aber nicht so stark.
Der Abschnitt in Richtung Zhagana hat eine schlechte Straßenqualität, viele kleine Bombentrichter können für normale Autos problematisch sein. SUVs mit höherer Bodenfreiheit kommen aber gut zurecht, für Geländewagen ist das kein Hindernis.
Es gibt fast 100 Kilometer "unbewohntes Gebiet" auf der Luo-Ke-Straße, die Naturbedingungen sind schwierig, es gibt keinen Handyempfang. Aber mit dem Aufkommen des Selbstfahrertourismus wird diese Strecke nach und nach für mehr Reisende erschlossen.
Hier kann man die einzigartige tibetische Landschaft genießen. Vielleicht wird die einst als "Straße der Schlaglöcher" bezeichnete Luo-Ke-Straße dank Straßenausbau zu einer schönen Panoramastraße.
Luo-Ke-Straße - Niba Hundert-Jahre-Tibeterdorf

Niba Hundert-Jahre-Tibeterdorf, ein abgelegenes tibetisches Dorf, das vom Einfluss der modernen Zivilisation weitgehend verschont geblieben ist.
Das Niba-Dorf ist eine Station auf der Luo-Ke-Straße. Da es weit von der Stadt entfernt liegt, wurde es nicht so stark von der modernen Zivilisation beeinflusst und bewahrt noch sein traditionelles Tibeter-Dorf-Aussehen.
Dieses hundertjährige tibetische Dorf hält noch relativ ursprüngliche Lebens- und Produktionsweisen aufrecht, die Häuserreihen sind terrassenförmig an den Berg gebaut.
Auf dem Abschnitt vom Niba-Tibeterdorf nach Zhagana gibt es fast keinen Handyempfang, es wird empfohlen, vor der Durchquerung eine Offline-Karte zu laden. Auf dem Streckenabschnitt vom Niba-Tibeterdorf nach Zageluo-Stadt gibt es dann wieder Handyempfang und die Straßenverhältnisse sind auch besser.

Zaguluo-Stadt, die Stadt ist nicht groß, aber hier sollte man unbedingt eine Pause einlegen.
Zagulu ist eine kleine Stadt im Kreis Duoni, auf 2.650 Metern Höhe gelegen. Die Stadt ist nicht sehr entwickelt, bietet Reisenden aber die Möglichkeit für eine einfache Rast und Erholung.
Als wichtige Kleinstadt, die man auf der Durchquerung der Luo-Ke-Straße passieren muss, müssen die Selbstfahrer hier fast immer einen Zwischenstopp einlegen. Egal ob am Beginn oder am Ende der Reise auf der Luo-Ke-Straße, hier ist es sehr wichtig, den Tankinhalt aufzufüllen.

Ibis Hotel, obwohl es zu Staus kommen kann, ist das Hotel preiswert und lohnenswert.
Das Hotel liegt relativ nah am Bahnhof Lanzhou, nicht im Stadtzentrum, aber dafür preisgünstig und mit ausreichend Parkplätzen. Vor dem Hotel gibt es Straßenimbisse und kleine Imbissläden, bei denen man leckere Lanzhou-Spezialitäten wie Rindfleischnudeln probieren kann.
Die Hotelzimmer sind sauber und geräumig, der Service ist auch relativ gut und zuvorkommend, so dass man sich hier gut erholen kann.
Die Straße vor dem Hotel ist eine berüchtigte Staustraße in Lanzhou, das muss man bei der Buchung bedenken. Aber selbst im Stau kommt man nicht in einen Stillstand wie in einer Großstadt.
