Diese epische Reise durch Sichuan, über die tibetische Hochebene entlang der sogenannten Sichuan-Tibet-Hochstraße nach Lhasa, hat seit Jahrhunderten Forscher, Abenteurer, Pilger, Händler und sogar Missionare angezogen. Die Reise ist lang und erfordert eine bestimmte Hingabe der Reisenden sowie eine gewisse Beweglichkeit auf den Straßen. Unsere erfahrenen Fahrer und Führer kennen diese Route gut und wissen genau, was für Transport und Unterkünfte in einer Region mit einer sehr einfachen touristischen Infrastruktur erforderlich sind, um das Faszinierende entlang des Weges nicht zu verpassen. Der erste Schritt dieses großartigen Überlandabenteuers führt uns zu den Pandabären in Wolong. Weiterhin fahren wir zu den alten Burgen und Wehrtürmen sowie dem wunderschönen tibetischen Dorf Danba. Die Weiterfahrt führt nach Garze, wo das größte Kloster von Kham liegt. Danach fahren wir zum heiligen See Yilhun Lhatso (Xinlu Hai See) und erreichen schließlich das kulturelle Zentrum Dege, das am Oberlauf des Yangtze Flusses liegt. In Chamdo besichtigen wir das Kalden Jampaling Kloster, das aus dem 15. Jahrhundert stammt, und fokussieren auf diese wichtige Marktstadt am Zusammenfluss zweier Nebenflüsse des Mekong Flusses. Weiterhin fahren wir südlich in die Stadt Baxoi. Von Baxoi aus fahren wir wieder westwärts über den Ranwu See, durch den Lulang Wald und am Basum Tso See bis nach Lhasa. In Lhasa besuchen wir den hoch über der Stadt erbauten Potala Palast, die heiligste Stätte – das Jokhang Kloster, den "Juwel-Park" Norbulingka sowie die Klosterschulen Drepung und Sera.
Reiseablauf:
01. Tag: Ankunft in Chengdu
Heute erreichen Sie Chengdu, die Hauptstadt der Provinz Sichuan und Heimat der berühmten Pandabären. Nach Ihrer Ankunft werden Sie von Ihrer lokalen Reiseleitung begrüßt und ins 4-Sterne-Hotel Tianfu Sunshine Hotel gebracht.
02. Tag: Chengdu – Yaan F/M/A
Nach dem Frühstück fahren wir nach Yaan, der berühmten "Regenstadt". Im Bifengxia-Naturschutzgebiet und dem historischen Dorf Shangli werden wir die Pandabären besuchen. Das alte Dorf Shangli, mit seiner klassischen Brücke, Pagode und Steinstele, präsentiert die traditionelle Schönheit, die über tausend Jahre zurückliegt. Übernachtung im 4-Sterne-Hotel Beituo Moon and Star.
03. Tag: Yaan – Danba F/M/A
Wir fahren nach Danba, auf dem Weg besuchen wir die katholische Kirche im Dengcigou-Tal und das Naturschutzgebiet Fengtong Zhai, wo ein französischer Missionar und Biologe die Pandas der Welt vorgestellt hat. Weiterhin fahren wir über den Jiajin-Berg zum Dorf Jiaju, um die tibetischen Bauernwohnungen zu fotografieren. Übernachtung im 3-Sterne-Hotel Dongnvguo.
04. Tag: Danba – Bamei – Dawu – Luhuo F/M/A
Morgens besichtigen Sie das Suopo-Dorf, Land der tausend Festungstürme, die eine Geschichte von bis zu 1000 Jahren haben. Weiter fahren wir über Bamei und Dawu nach Luhuo, wo Sie die malerische Landschaft genießen können. Übernachtung im 2-Sterne-Hotel Kasa.
05. Tag: Luhuo – Kasa See – Garze F/M/A
Wir fahren nach Garze, das als kulturelles und religiöses Zentrum für die in Sichuan lebenden Tibeter gilt. Im Weg fahren wir kurz am Kasa-See vorbei. Garze ist bekannt für seine zahlreichen Lama-Klöster und die tiefe religiöse Atmosphäre. Übernachtung im 2-Sterne-Hotel Golden Yak.
06. Tag: Garze – Dege F/M/A
Wir nähern uns Dege, dem kulturellen Zentrum von Kham. Unterwegs machen wir eine Wanderung zum Yilhun Lhatso, einem wunderschönen, heiligen Gletschersee. Dege ist bekannt für seine 250 Jahre alte Druckerei, die einst die größte von ganz Tibet war. Übernachtung im 2-Sterne-Hotel Chola.
07. Tag: Dege – Chamdo F/M/A
Wir verlassen Dege und fahren nach Chamdo, einem der größten Städte Osttibets. Unterwegs besuchen wir das Wara-Kloster der Sakya-Schule. Übernachtung im 3-Sterne-Hotel Chamdo.
08. Tag: Chamdo – Baxoi F/M/A
Morgens besuchen wir das Qiangbaling-Kloster, das größte Lama-Kloster im Kham-Gebiet. Nachmittags fahren wir nach Baxoi, einem Dorf, das im Tibetischen "Dorf unter dem Fuß des Kämpfers" bedeutet. Übernachtung im einfachen Zhengfu Hotel.
09. Tag: Baxoi – Ranwu See – Bome F/M/A
Wir fahren nach Bome, auf dem Weg besuchen wir den Ranwu See, der für seine Schönheit auch "die Schweiz in Tibet" genannt wird. Übernachtung im einfachen Shenying Hotel.
10. Tag: Bome – Linzhi F/M/A
Wir fahren nach Linzhi, auf dem Weg besuchen wir die Pailong-Dorf der Mönba-Minderheit und die tiefste Schlucht der Welt. Übernachtung im 3-Sterne-Hotel Shangpala.
11. Tag: Linzhi – Basum Tso See – Lhasa F/M/-
Nach dem Frühstück fahren wir zum Basum Tso See, einem heiligen See der Nyingmapa-Schule. Weiter fahren wir entlang des Niyang Flusses und über den Mila Pass nach Lhasa. Übernachtung im 3-Sterne-Hotel Thangka.
12. Tag: Lhasa F/M/-
Wir verbringen den Tag mit Sightseeing in Lhasa, einschließlich des Potala-Palastes und des Jokhang-Tempels. Spätnachmittags erkunden wir den Barkhor, einen heiligen Umweg.
13. Tag: Lhasa F/M/-
Morgens besuchen wir das Drepung-Kloster und Norbulingka, die Sommerresidenz der Dalai Lamas. Nachmittags fahren wir zum Sera-Kloster, wo wir die Debatten der Mönche erleben können.
14. Tag: Flug Lhasa – Chengdu F/M/-
Morgens fliegen wir nach Chengdu, wo wir den Nachmittag in der Altstadt Chengdus verbringen, insbesondere in den Gassen Kuan Xiangzi und Zhai Xiangzi.
15. Tag: Rückflug ab Chengdu F/-/-
Morgens fliegen wir nach Hause.
