Wenn man wandert, kann man in etwa zwei Stunden langsam gehen, der Anstieg ist ziemlich sanft und daher eine eher leichte Strecke.
Das Cloud Inn des Barong-Stammes am Siguniang Mountain, ein behagliches Aufenthaltsort inmitten der Natur, befindet sich im Changping Village, direkt in der Nähe des Changping Valley Tourist Centers. Das Inn ist ausgestattet mit modernen Annehmlichkeiten wie Fußbodenheizung, einem Aufzug und einem im tibetischen Stil gestalteten Aufzugsschacht. Zusätzlich verfügt es über einen Luftwärmewasserbereiter und eine Wasseraufbereitungsanlage, die für einen angenehmen und sicheren Aufenthalt sorgen.
Die Tatsache, dass dieses fünfstöckige Inn einen Aufzug bietet, ist im Vergleich zu anderen nahegelegenen Hotels ein großer Vorteil. Die Zimmer sind in einem hervorragendem Zustand, sauber und frei von Gerüchen. Im Erdgeschoss gibt es einen Gemeinschaftsbereich, in dem neben Tee auch Mahlzeiten serviert werden, die es auf jeden Fall lohnt, ausprobiert zu werden.
Die Rezeption ist der Ort, an dem Sauerstoff für die Gäste zur Verfügung gestellt wird, was besonders in einer Gebirgsregion von Vorteil sein kann. Das Ehepaar des Besitzers ist bekannt für ihre herzliche Gastfreundschaft und stets einladende Art. Das Cloud Inn ist auch für seine freundliche Haltung gegenüber Haustiere bekannt, was es zu einem idealen Ort für Reisende macht, die ihre vierbeinbaren Begleiter mit auf die Reise nehmen.

Der Siguniang Mountain ist der höchste Gipfel des Qionglai-Gebirges am östlichen Rand des Hengduan-Gebirges und besteht aus vier kontinuierlichen Gipfeln, von denen alle über 5000 Meter hoch sind.
Der Siguniang Mountain Scenic Area ist hauptsächlich in die Haizi-Gou, Changping-Gou und Shuangqiao-Gou unterteilt. Haizi-Gou ist der einzige Ort, an dem man das gesamte Bild des Siguniang Mountain sehen kann, während man im Changping-Gou den höchsten Gipfel, den Yaomei Peak, sehen kann. Beide Wanderwege sind jedoch sehr anspruchsvoll, mit einer Höhe von etwa 3500 Metern und einer Wanderstrecke von über zehn Kilometern. Es wird empfohlen, dass durchschnittliche Personen sich nicht leicht herausfordern sollten.
Vergleichsweise ist Shuangqiao-Gou am besten ausgestattet und bietet die beste Gesamtaussicht. Die Besichtigungswagen im Gebiet können tief in die Schlucht fahren, und für die Rückkehr kann man wählen, ob man zu Fuß geht oder mit dem Wagen fährt. Es eignet sich sehr gut für Touristen, die eine entspanntere Reise bevorzugen. Der einzige Nachteil ist jedoch, dass man hier den Yaomei Peak nicht sehen kann.
